NORTHUMBRIA UNIVERSITY
NESST BRANDING AND LAUNCH
An identity design, launch materials, conference assets and building site hoardings for the North East Space Skills and Technology Centre. A state-of-the-art £50M facility developed by Northumbria University, with investment from the UK Government, UK Space Agency and the space and satellite division of industry giant Lockheed Martin. All creative and designed aspects of the project were led by myself.
BRAND DESIGN
Satellites are a key aspect of research and development at NESST. The brand concept represents the dynamic movement of satellites orbiting the globe, flying in formation and communication.
DIGITAL PROMOTION
A wide range of digital assets were created for socials, email, PR, and both internal and corporate websites to support the integrated marketing and communications launch of NESST.
BUILDING SITE HOARDINGS
Hoardings now surround the NESST building site and were designed to inform and impress passers-by. A combination of bold messaging, academic and space imagery instantly tells of the centre and its plans. An illustration of the building also informs of how it will look once completed.
UK SPACE CONFERENCE 2024
LinkedIn promotion, stand design, and merchandise for the university, who were exhibiting at The UK Space Conference 2024. Socials informed attendees of the university's guest speaker, and the stand was designed to tell of the university's exciting work and to draw in crowds. NESST was revealed halfway through the event therefore two sets of some assets were created to build excitement.
